Why I Am Qualified to Do Bookkeeping
My decision to build CXGenX is supported by more than a business idea. It is supported by my education, professional background, hands-on experience, and the trust I have built with clients over the years.
I have invested in my education because I believe that financial services require continuous learning. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a Master’s Degree in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, and I am continuing my education through an MBA program at Concordia University, St. Paul.
But education is only one part of my background.
My qualifications have also been developed through years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, billing, payroll, and financial management experience.
Throughout my career, I have worked with real financial records and real business situations. My experience includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, credit card transaction review, inventory, depreciation, payment processing, QuickBooks, and financial statement preparation.
I have also had the responsibility of presenting financial information, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements, to company leadership.
This experience has taught me that bookkeeping is not simply about recording transactions.
It requires understanding the business behind the numbers.
My Experience Is Built on Real Businesses
One of the most meaningful parts of my professional journey is the relationship I have built with clients.
People who have worked with me have continued to reach out to me when they need help with their books, financial records, accounting questions, or business decisions.
For me, that continued trust means a great deal.
A client returning for help is not simply another transaction. It tells me that the work I provided was valuable enough for that person to come back when they faced another financial challenge.
Over the years, I have helped clients work through bookkeeping issues, financial organization, reconciliations, categorization problems, reporting, and other accounting-related challenges.
Some businesses do not need someone who simply enters numbers.
They need someone who can look at those numbers and ask:
Does this make sense?
Is this transaction recorded correctly?
Why doesn't the bank balance agree with the books?
What is affecting the company's profitability?
What information does the owner need to make a better decision?
That is where my experience becomes important.
Why My Clients' Continued Trust Matters
Credentials can tell you what someone has studied.
A résumé can tell you where someone has worked.
But long-term client relationships can demonstrate the trust that develops when someone consistently provides value.
The fact that clients continue to seek my assistance is one of the things that motivates me to keep learning and improving.
I don't take that trust for granted.
Every client situation is different, and every set of books tells a different story. My responsibility is to approach each situation carefully, understand the business, identify problems, organize the information, and provide the best support I can.
