“Gen X — You’ve worked hard. Now let’s make life stronger, healthier, and easier.”
Gen X Health, Wealth & Smart Living”
Your trusted hub for supplements, lifestyle tools, and financial tips — created for Generation X to stay strong, balanced, and successful.
Why This Website Exists?
You know that moment when you hit your 40s or 50s and realize your energy is dropping faster than your kids’ Wi-Fi signal? Yep — that’s where this started. As a proud Gen Xer, I got tired of scrolling through “health advice” made for TikTok teens or financial tips that assume we still live with our parents. So I created CXGenX: a place where supplements meet spreadsheets, where mushroom coffee sits next to bookkeeping hacks, and where we admit that sometimes, multivitamins are cheaper than therapy. This site is here to help us Gen Xers stay strong, balanced, and maybe even a little cooler than the generations after us.
Every Gen X is Welcome!!!
“Think of this site like a Gen X living room — grab a chair, scroll around, and don’t be shy to leave a comment. Questions, ideas, or even random thoughts are welcome… just keep it nice, we’re too old for internet drama. 😎”
“Questions? Ideas? Drop them in the comments — kindness only, please! This site is a safe zone: protected from bullies, trolls, and even hackers (we told them to go play somewhere else 😎).”

About Me – Liz Ledesma
Hi, I’m Liz 👋 A proud Gen Xer who’s learned the hard way that staying healthy, balanced, and financially smart in midlife takes more than luck — it takes the right tools, supplements, and a good sense of humor.
I started this site because I was tired of scrolling through wellness advice made for 20-somethings and business tips that never spoke to our generation. Gen X is tough, resilient, and resourceful — but let’s be honest, sometimes we need a little boost (whether that’s a DIM capsule, mushroom coffee, or a clean spreadsheet).
With a background in accounting and finance, plus a passion for health and wellness, I decided to combine both worlds here at CXGenX. This is where you’ll find my favorite affiliate picks for health and lifestyle — and, if you’re running a side hustle or small business, some simple bookkeeping support to keep your numbers in check.
✨ One thing I promise: every page, product, or resource I share here has been tested by me personally. If I recommend it, it’s because it’s worked for me or I’ve seen it help others. This isn’t theory — it’s practical, real-world, Gen X–approved guidance.
⚠️ Disclaimer: What works for me or others may not always be suitable for everyone. Please make informed choices and, if it’s about your health, always consult with a qualified professional before making changes.
This isn’t just a website. It’s a community for Gen X — a safe, positive space where we can share, learn, laugh, and thrive together.
Main Health Issues of Gen X
As Gen X (born roughly 1965–1980) moves into their 40s–60s, several health issues stand out:
-
Chronic Diseases: Higher risks of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension, especially tied to lifestyle and midlife stress.
-
Mental Health: Anxiety, depression, and burnout are prevalent, partly due to being a “sandwich generation” (caring for aging parents while supporting kids).
-
Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome: Rates are higher compared to Boomers at the same age, leading to increased risks of stroke and cardiovascular disease.
-
Cancer Risks: As they age, cancers common in midlife (like colorectal, breast, and prostate) become more prevalent.
-
Musculoskeletal Issues: Back pain, arthritis, and joint problems are common, especially among those in sedentary desk jobs.
-
Substance Use: Gen X has higher rates of alcohol and prescription drug use than some other generations.
